Mice Parade

New York-based Mice Parade have a distinctive electronic/post-rock sound that is sonically rich and musically diverse.  Esoteric and inventive, they effortlessly traverse ambient, percussive, acoustic and electronic sounds.

Starting as a studio project put together by drummer Adam Pierce, Mice Parade has evolved into a full touring band with a line-up based around the cheng (Chinese harp) two drumkits, an accompaniment of vibraphones, Rhodes keyboard, old synths, violin and whatever and whoever else is available.

Mice Parade is an anagram for Adam Pierce who has also drummed in The Swirlies, The Dylan Group, HiM and múm, ran the Bubble Core label and distribution company and now runs Fat-Cat USA. The touring band features Doug Scharin (Rex, June of 44), Dylan Cristy (Dylan Group), Rob Laakso (Swirlies, Diamond Nights), Jay Israelson (Lansing-Dreiden), Caroline Lufkin and Dan Lippel.
